Business Financing to take money out, grow, acquire, and/or refinance.
Debt advisory for $1M to $50M to established, profitable companies. You keep your company. Free assessment.
Capital for various situations
We raise capital primarily from private credit and banks. Different lenders fit different situations.

Take money out
Turn what you've built into cash without bringing in an outside buyer.
Dividend recap
The business borrows against what it earns and pays it out to you. You keep your company.
Partner buyout
The business funds a co-owner's exit, so you don't write a personal check.
Sell to your team
Your managers buy you out, mostly with a lender's money rather than their own savings.
Growth capital
Fund the next stage without draining your operating cash.
Expansion
New locations, new markets, new product lines, and the people to run them.
Real estate
Buy or build the facility your business runs out of.
Equipment
Machinery, vehicles, and technology that add capacity.
M&A capital
Buy another company, financed by what both businesses earn.
Buy a competitor
Add customers, people, and capacity in a single move.
Enter a new market
Buy a company that already operates where you want to be.
Structure the deal
The loan, any seller financing, and what you put in, sized to work together.
Refinance
Replace debt that costs too much or holds you back.
Better terms
Often a lower rate, a lower payment, or a longer term.
Fewer restrictions
In many cases, looser lender rules and no personal guarantee.
Cash-out refinance
Refinance what you owe and take cash out in the same deal.
Why Tailwind
When lenders compete, you receive better terms.
Lenders often compete
We typically run a competitive process across several lenders, so you can compare offers instead of taking the first one.
Often no personal guarantee
Many of the structures we arrange don't require one. We'll tell you as soon as a lender asks for one.
Repayment that can fit your cash flow
Many lenders offer flexible repayment, including interest-only periods, when the deal supports it.
Not every financing includes every feature. We'll tell you which ones apply to yours.
How it works
From the first call to the final signature, Tailwind Lending is your partner at every step.
- 01
Tell us what you need
Start with a call. We'll talk through your goal and your historic profitability to size a realistic financing number, and whether it's enough to get you there.
- 02
We dig into your financials
Under NDA, we work through your financial statements to find your true earnings and see the business the way a lender will.
- 03
We build the package
We turn your financials and your story into a lender-ready package that makes the case for your deal, presented the way underwriters expect to see it.
- 04
We run the process
We take your deal to the right lenders, often dozens of them, to create a competitive process. You compare the offers that come back and choose the best fit.
- 05
We see it through closing
You've picked a lender. Now comes the work that gets the deal across the finish line: confirmatory diligence and legal documentation. We quarterback both, keep the lender, attorneys, and your team on schedule, and bring in an accounting team when the lender wants the numbers verified.
About the founder
Run by someone who has sat on the lender's side of the table.

Tailwind was founded by Rohit Kejriwal, who has spent his career on the institutional side of capital: mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, and community development finance. He has successfully closed dozens of term sheets for clients as an advisor, totaling $180M+. He reads financials the way a lender's credit team does: how reliable the earnings and industry are, what the payback plan is, and how much debt the business can carry in a downturn.
