We look before we speak
No one at Tailwind will quote you a rate before reading your financials, because that number would be a guess. The review comes first, every time.
A finance desk built around underwriting, not sales.
Owners of established, profitable companies get pitched constantly, and most of it is small, short-term money that doesn't fit a company their size.
Meanwhile, private equity firms arrange financing for their companies every day: taking money out, buying competitors, and funding expansion. Owner-led companies are rarely offered any of it.
That gap isn't about credit. Plenty of these companies can borrow on institutional terms. The gap is access: someone has to read the file and take it to the right lenders.
Tailwind exists to close it. We read the financials first, tell you what we think a lender will do, and typically run a competitive process with the lenders who do that kind of deal. We work on financings of $1M and up.

Rohit has spent his career on the institutional side of capital. He has closed more than $180M in commercial transactions, negotiated and closed dozens of lender term sheets, and across his career has been involved in raising, lending, and managing over $1B.
His background spans mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, and community development finance, and he is an accounting professional by training. Underwriting, quality of earnings work, and financial modeling are the day-to-day of his practice.
He holds a Bachelor's in Accounting and Economics and an MBA from The Ohio State University, both with Honors distinction.
He founded Tailwind to bring institutional financing to owner-led companies that are rarely offered it.

No one at Tailwind will quote you a rate before reading your financials, because that number would be a guess. The review comes first, every time.
If your business isn't fundable right now, or not on terms worth taking, we'll say so and tell you what would have to change.
That focus is deliberate. Every file gets underwriting-level attention, and it goes only to lenders who do that kind of deal.
Your accountant, your attorney, and your banker are usually assets to the process. We'd rather bring them in than work around them.
The review costs nothing and commits you to nothing. At the end of it, you'll have our view of what your business could raise and what it would take to get there.
